The Walking In Between

(This article has nothing to do with Ent_600. Jut some fun writing for me. Now read on!)

The part of the stories that we remember are not always the start of the trip or the end of the trip, but all that occurred in between!

I have found myself enjoying this journey alongside my wife who is far out of my league. She has encouraged me to pursue a Master in Entrepreneurship so that is what I am doing. This post is to reflect and remind me of what mindset we should all have as we embark on our adventures.

This degree I am pursuing, and whatever you are currently chasing after in life, is a part of our walk. We should enjoy it! Not let it stress us out and trip us up. You know what they say about tripping while walking in the mountains right? Yep, the dementors will get you…at least that is what happened to Harry Potter so I just assume that is a consistent thing, but back to my main point. Sure it will be hard some times, and maybe even sometimes feel like it is more than we can handle. Those are the moments that we will look back on and be thankful for. They are also the times that mold and shape us the most!

One last thing. When we reach whatever it is we are currently after, that is not the end of the walk. It is simply just another thing we are getting to see on our travels. So be sure to look around some while you are walking, because you do not want to miss all the beautiful sights along the way!

To quote Ben Rector,

“There are way too many love songs
And I think they’ve got it all wrong
Cause life is not the mountain tops
It’s the walking in between
And I like you walking next to me”
